Local Governing Committee

At River Tyne Academy, our Local Governing Committee plays a vital role within the Trust Governance framework. The committee is dedicated to ensuring that our pupils receive the highest quality education and support, particularly as they navigate their unique challenges.

• Adherence to Policies: We ensure that all policies and procedures agreed upon by the Trust are followed diligently. This commitment to compliance helps us maintain a safe and effective learning environment for our pupils.
• Efficient Use of Public Funds: The committee is responsible for overseeing the efficient use of public funds, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support the educational needs of our pupils.
• Standards of Public Life: We uphold the Standards of Public Life, promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency in all our actions and decisions.
